Over the years I’ve realized that I’m much better at cooking meals when I take the time to prepare a dinner menu. I find I actually enjoy cooking when I’m not trying to pull a meal off the top of my head at the last minute. Next week I’ll share with you how I organize my recipes and create our monthy dinner menus. For now, I’ll share with you my family’s June Dinner Menu.
I created a Google calendar so I can access it on my phone when I’m at the store and I can see what I’ve got planned for the week. I made the calendar public so you can follow along, too, if you like. The Calendar ID is: firstname.lastname@example.org. (On your Google calendar page, click “Other Calendars” and paste the ID.)
For the menu items that have recipes online, I’ve included the link for you. Simply click on the menu item on the calendar, then click on the “Description” link. That will take you to the recipe.
I hope that helps inspire you to get cooking, too. If you have any other ideas or suggestions you would like to see, let me know!
